New IDOI Closer Bulletin 135 is HERE
An official Bulletin from the Indiana Department of Insurance that has been a long time coming is finally here. Bulletin 135 stating that "Any person who conducts a real estate closing on behalf of a title insurance producer or a title insurance company in which a title insurance policy is issued or is to be issued MUST be a licensed insurance producer."
Those individuals who conduct activities as will be described in the forthcoming bulletin will need to be licensed unless they conduct themselves within the permitted exception.
