The Passing of Sharon Tompkins

ILTA is saddened to learn of the passing of Sharon Tompkins, a highly active member of our family. Information about her final arrangements can be found here.

Sharon Tompkins passed away June 30, 2019 in Columbus, Indiana.  She was an active member of ILTA and former owner of Bartholomew Title Services, Inc. and later with Stewart Title Services and Security Title Services. She began her career at Columbus Abstract (Royal Title) in Columbus Indiana.  Sharon served on many ILTA committees with a special interest in education and could be found where there was laughter or playful fun at the annual conventions.  She was active in the Columbus community and the Bartholomew County Real Estate market for over 40 years! She will always be remembered for her smile, humor, and wit.  Sharon was an avid horseracing fan and could be found in a casino now and then.  She was survived by her son Chris and his family.   The title industry loss a special person and she will be missed.   Information about her final arrangements can be found here:
