Patrick H. Beall, Group President
Pat Beall serves as Group President, with responsibility for agency operations and Stewart’s mortgage service offerings. In this role, he oversees a diverse range of Stewart’s business areas, including independent title agency network of Trusted Providers in the U.S.; technology sales for the agency network; Stewart Lender Services, and its offerings for loan originators, services, and related providers; and Stewart Vacation Ownership.
Most recently, Beall served as Executive Vice President, Senior Director of agency operations. Previously, he was the south-central states District Manager for agency operations, with direct and indirect responsibility for Stewart’s independent agency network in 22 states. His extensive experience includes title insurance, underwriting, and real estate tax services. A Stewart associate since 1986, Beall has also served as President of two affiliated entities, Professional Real Estate Tax Service and Baca Landata.
Beall is a member of the American Land Title Association’s (ALTA) Board of Governors. He serves on the association’s Title Insurance Underwriter’s Section Executive Committee. He’s also a member of the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA) and its Finance Committee. Beall previously served on the Oklahoma Land Title Association’s board of directors. He attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman.

Donna Anderson has spent the past 30 years in the Real Estate & Title industry in various roles. Throughout her career, she’s worked with employee engagement, training, technology, sales, and management. This experience is encapsulated today in her role at North American Title Insurance Company. Whether working with Title Agents across the country helping them with technology, consulting on business efficiencies, or working with State Agency Managers on projects, training and education, or sales, Donna is constantly aware of the challenges that are faced in the Title Insurance space when it comes to recruiting, training, and retaining quality employees. Scott J. Fandre, Partner
Scott Fandre is a member of his firm's Real Estate, Litigation, and Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on commercial foreclosures and workouts, title insurance litigation, and insurance regulatory matters, real estate, property development, construction, and insurance.
As Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for a large title insurance company in Chicago, Scott litigated real estate cases at the trial and appellate court levels for claims in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio for more than 20 years. He also handled high liability title insurance claims throughout the Northeast as Regional Claims Counsel in New York City. Scott has taught training classes and presented seminars throughout the country on title insurance, real estate, and construction law.
Thomas R. Fickle, Indiana Agency Services Manager
Tom Fickle currently is the Indiana Agency Services Manager (ASM) for Stewart Title Guaranty. As an active member of the Indiana Land Title Association, he has served on many committees, including the Board of Governors. Tom served as President of Indiana Land Title Association for the years 1999-2000. A native of Fickle, Indiana, his first experience with the title industry was a visit to Adrian Marks in Frankfort over a family owned tract of land outside of Fickle, Indiana, in Clinton County. He is a 1974 graduate of Vincennes University of the Real Estate Abstracting and Title Associate degree program co-sponsored by the Indiana Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association. Tom has worked in the title industry since 1975 in various positions as an Agent and an Underwriter.
Adam Gwaltney is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance and has been practicing for 20 years. He specializes in numerous types of Professional Liability Insurance to include Legal Professional Liability, Title Agent Errors & Omissions, and Cyber Liability Insurance. He has been a frequent speaker for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF), the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and The Indiana State Bar Association. Jonathan Handsborough, Title Director, Indiana Department of Insurance
Jonathan Handsborough is the Title Division Director at the Indiana Department of Insurance. The purpose of the Indiana Department of Insurance is to protect Hoosiers as they purchase and use insurance products to keep their assets and families form loss or harm. Consumers may need assistance with certain claim situations or just help in understanding how their policies work. The Department’s primary obligation is to monitor the financial solvency of the insurance companies domiciled in Indiana so that the legal promises made in insurance policies are honored.
The Title Division examines the business practices of resident and non-resident agents, agencies, and underwriters who conduct business in the State of Indiana. The Title Division also oversees all the licensing, administrative matters, consumer complaints, and enforcement matters regarding title insurance licenses in Indiana. Prior to this current role, Jonathan served as the Non-Residential Auditor/Senior Examiner for three years with the Department. Before joining the Department Jonathan co-owned an Insurance Firm for ten years and worked as a Hospital Administrator in Austin, Texas. Jonathan obtained his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, is a member of the National Black MBA Association Twin Cities Chapter and is a member of the Indiana Inter-Agency Mortgage Lending and Fraud Prevention Task Force.
Laura L. Hardy, AVP and Division Underwriter Counsel (South Central District), Old Republic National Title Insurance Company
Laura Hardy is a Division Underwriting Counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. In this role, she assists agents in seven states, providing day-to-day underwriting support and aiding in complex projects from order to closing. She assists corporate underwriting and the national commercial group with multi-site transactions when sites fall within her region. Laura has developed and presented numerous educational seminars for agents and land title associations in her territory. As Sr. Vice President/Director of Corporate Escrow Operations and a principal partner, Karen brings 41 years of experience to her role. She began her career with Meridian Title and has held many positions within the company during her tenure. Danielle L. Kaiser, Vice President and Regional Underwriting Counsel
Danielle L. Kaiser is Vice President and Regional Underwriting Counsel with North American Title Insurance Company (NATIC). Danielle provides underwriting support for agents in Indiana and Ohio as well as the Eastern region. She serves as NATIC’s forms counsel and takes an active role as NATIC’s e-notarization and e-closing team advisor and in broader underwriting issues for NATIC. Mary Slade began her career in the title industry as an Assistant Regional Counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company, Ticor Title Insurance Company, and Security Union Title Insurance Company in 1996 including underwriting, claims, and auditing in six states. She has worked as a State Counsel, Field Customer Service Representative and Regional Counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty from 1999-2008.
