2025 Indiana Land Title Lifetime Achievement Award


The Indiana Land Title Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Larry Wasson in recognition of his decades of exceptional service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the title industry in Indiana. Throughout his distinguished career, Larry has been a guiding force by mentoring professionals, championing ethical standards, and working tirelessly to strengthen the foundation upon which the title industry stands today. His influence extends beyond his professional accomplishments; it is reflected in the countless careers he has helped shape, the policies he has guided, and the respect he has earned across the state and beyond. Larry's dedication to the principles of integrity, education, and community has left an indelible legacy. The Indiana Land Title Association proudly celebrates his lifelong contributions and the profound impact he has made on Indiana's title industry.

The Indiana Land Title Lifetime Achievement Award is given for the performance of distinguished and meritorious service to the Association.  This prestigious award is presented to a member of Indiana Land Title Association whose dedication and service to the Association and the title industry has spanned their career. It recognizes individuals who have consistently demonstrated a high level of commitment, leadership, and influence in advancing the goals of the Association and contributing significantly to the title profession. Recipients of this award have a long-standing record of active participation, impactful contributions, and a legacy of service that has left a lasting impression on their colleagues, the Association, and the community.
 

2025 Indiana Land Title President's Award


The Indiana Land Title President's Award was presented to Indiana State Representative Martin Carbaugh, Charlie Hiltunen, Chad Hiltunen, Andrew Drake, Michael Schmitz, Amanda Krenson, Margaret Sklenar, and Elizabeth Wysong Berg.

These distinguished recipients were honored for their tireless efforts and steadfast commitment in achieving the repeal of the Indiana RReal statute — a milestone that represents a major victory for the title industry and for property owners across the state. Their collaboration, perseverance, and advocacy have left an enduring mark on Indiana's legislative and land title landscape.


The Indiana Land Title President's Award is a special honor bestowed at the discretion of the Association President to recognize individuals who have provided outstanding and exceptional service to the Association and its members.  This award is given to members whose dedication, leadership, and contributions have gone above and beyond, making a lasting impact on the organization.  The recipients are those whose support, guidance, and efforts were invaluable during the President's tenure - demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Association.  Their dedication not only strengthened the organization but has also set a standard of excellence for others to follow.  The award serves as a token of gratitude and appreciation for their contributions, acknowledging the vital role they played in the achievements of the association during the President's term.   

 

2025 Indiana Land Title Community Service Award
 

The Indiana Land Title Community Service Award was presented to Andrea Ewan for her extraordinary compassion and impact through The Community Project, an organization she co-founded in southeastern Indiana that provides meals, hygiene essentials, and vital support to those in need. Andrea's leadership and generosity embody the heart of service that defines the ILTA community.

The recipient of the Indiana Land Title Community Service Award must demonstrate consistent and unselfish service to their community outside of the real estate industry.  Its purpose is to recognize and honor members who make extraordinary contributions to and impacts on their local communities through volunteer work. Through this award, the Association promotes philanthropy and volunteerism by inspiring and encouraging members to get involved and foster a culture of giving back. 

2025 Indiana Land Title Rising Star Award


The Indiana Land Title Rising Star Award was presented to Samantha Cooper, recognizing her exceptional enthusiasm, initiative, and dedication to the association. Samantha's “above and beyond” approach to service and her commitment to the success of ILTA exemplify the bright future of Indiana's title professionals.


The Indiana Land Title Rising Star Award is designed to recognize an Indiana Land Title Association member who has made, and is making, a positive impact on the real estate industry within the early years of his or her career. The recipient of this award embodies a spirit of innovation, engagement, and collaboration.


2025 Indiana Land Title President, Brandi Halcomb and the Indiana Land Title Board of Governors extend their heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to all award recipients for their outstanding achievements and commitment to excellence.
